The New Earth

Over the past several years I have started to hear more and more people talk about the “New Earth,” which absolutely makes my heart sing. While I have my own vision about what is meant by that, I feel that we are still exploring as a collective what exactly does “New Earth” really mean. In this post, I simply want to add my voice to the discussion about what I see as “New Earth” lifestyle.

What is New Earth to me?

New Earth is an earth in which we are wearing completely different lenses than we have been in the past. We are looking at the world as a global village that is responsive to love, not war.  A world in which small, intentional communitie are creating networks of like-minded people that want to see life be enjoyable- for everyone.

What has kept us separate before? Hate. Race difference. Religious differences. Gender differences. Every time we lean on these identities/lables, we are creating a place where we are unpowerful.  Separate we are not whole. Separate we have leaks of energy. Separate, we suffer. 

Moving into the New Earth is one in which we are sovereign- where each person is given the respect to be them, to live from their own origins, to have their own wounds and to be as great as they want to be. 

In the context of the ceremonies, retreats and medicine spaces in which we are existing, I believe there is a need to look at the ways in which we allow ourselves to be sovereign and in the ways in which our separation and labels are potentially blocking the flow of our actual mission on this earth- to be, do and spread love.

There is always a need for acknowledgement and understanding of a person’s, people’s or culture’s history.  It is through history that we gain respect for our own stories and it is through history that we are able to understand what “worked” and “what didn’t.” It is how we understand the formations of individual personalities and cultural identities. We must always have the ancient present.

The futuristic, however, is a space to create new possibilities. To rework and to re-define what it means to be a human.  The future always has the possibility to be different than the past and the present…if we intend and allow it..

The spaces that are being created by what I see as the New Earth Movement, in order to be successful, allow for individuals to be able to thrive- regardless of their histories.  They are spaces where we are co-creating environments in which all people feel included and honored.

If the New Earth is a time/space that allows for everyone to have sovereignty then we must, by definition, become accustomed to allowing each person to live their own truth and express their own magic in the ways they are led to by their heart.  It is a time/space where people are moving around the globe, in conversations, in collaboration and in co-creation.  In this timeline, there is only room for productive progress in which we heal collectively the wounds of the past- no matter whose hands the blood is on. In this timeline, we teach each other the beautiful stories of our own lands and our own peoples and we respectfully receive the stories of others. We then respectfully and truthfully share the entire story of our relatives to others that may or may not have access to these stories; we share the wisdom through ceremony, through dissemination of the medicines, and always through the honoring of the mother of each and every one of us- mother earth.

We are moving into a cycle where healing can happen overnight.  The speed in which we will be changing and ascending is rapidly increasing. We are being asked to be brand new.  Completely brand new.

If you are someone that considers yourself a warrior/sister/brother/father/mother of light, then you are being summoned to do things differently now. You are being asked to disseminate medicines that may not be of your land or your now cultural heritage.  You are being asked to look to masters, teachers, gurus, elders and to incorporate that knowledge while creating your own medicine at this time. It is not an either/or situation- this is an AND situation and we can and will move forward into creating beautiful offerings that honor the origins of your practice, while also allowing for the integration of the magic that lies within you.
